How to Add (Link) an Email to My Account?
Step 1:
On the Website: Click the "More" button at the bottom of the navigation bar on the homepage.
Or on the App: Click your profile picture in the top left corner.
Step 2:
On the Website: Select "Settings" > "Account Information" > "Email."
Or on the App: Select "Settings" > "Account" > "Account Information" > "Email."
Step 3:
Enter the email address you want to add and click "Send Code."
Step 4:
Log in to your email account, and click the verification link sent from GETTR to complete the process.
If you haven't received the verification email, check your spam or other mail folders. You can also repeat the steps to resend the verification email. Ensure a stable internet connection and avoid requesting the code multiple times.
How to Change the Linked Email?
Step 1:
On the Website: Click the "More" button in the navigation bar.

Step 3:
To change the email, verify your account. You can verify by entering the code sent to your old email or by entering your password. After successful verification, enter the new email address and send a verification code. Note: Do not close the code input interface during this process.
Step 4:
Log in to the new email, find the email from GETTR containing the verification code, and input the received code to complete the change.
Please note: After successfully entering the verification code, the page will automatically redirect. If the code is incorrect, wait for a minute and click "Resend" to input the code again.
Can an Email be Linked to Multiple Accounts?
No, currently, one email address can only be linked to one GETTR account. You cannot use the same email address for multiple account registrations or associations.
Can a Deleted Account's Email be Used for a New Account/Other Account?
Currently, this is not possible. Therefore, ensure you understand the consequences of deleting an account before proceeding.
How to Link an Old Account's Email to a New Account?
We recommend preparing another email (B) and changing the old account's email (A) to email (B). This way, you can use email (A) for registering or linking to the new account.
